Movies and Music in the Park

What better way to end a summer night than with some live music, a movie, a picnic, and your loved ones around you? Running from July 6th to September 7th this year, Concerts and Movies in the Park will be the place to be! Don’t miss out on some of the very cool bands lined up to serenade the day away. From Moana to Sandlot there is sure to be a flick that your and yours will enjoy! Movies begin after dusk and popcorn is provided! Fairs and Festivals!

Summer Funds - Portland Festivals and Amusement ParksWashington Park Summer Festival: Save this date! July 27th-29th. Starting at 6pm, Washington Park will be full of music, laughter, dance, and family fun! Free for all ages.

One of my favorite parts of Portland summers are all of the street fairs! From Hawthorne to Alberta back to Mississippi. Live music, local artist and food, there is so much fun to be had on the streets. PDX Parent has collected a list of Portland street fairs and festivals.



Take A Nature Walk

Nature Hike at Tryon CreekStory & Stroll is an interactive nature walk that you and your kids can enjoy… For Free!! Make sure to sign up 30 minutes before the walk, every Friday at 11am or 1pm. Space is limited, and ages 2-6 are preferred but all are welcome 🙂 Click Here for more details!





The Portland Children’s Museum (Free the first Friday of every month from 4-8) is a great way to get out and have some educational fun! There are a ton of different activities and rooms to choose from. To career building activities to a water play world! Take advantage of their free First Friday’s from 4-8 pm. Remember, it’s just the first Friday of every month when you can snag this deal.
